There are many versions of this story. I think it was originally a Jewish story from Eastern Europe, and the wise advice came from a rabbi (a religious teacher). Note: the Jewish version would not include pigs!

You can invite listeners to come onstage and act out the parts of the people and animals. You will be the Mama who asks for advice. (Male storytellers can be Papa who asks for advice, and Mama can bang pretend pots and pans.) Instruct the "Wise Woman" that all she has to do is pretend to whisper an answer in your ear, and then say "Trust me!"
